Twin Oaks bed and breakfast is situated
in a quiet country setting, yet only 5 minutes by car from the
small historic city of Kilkenny.Travel south on the R697, or Kells
Rd, we are approx 4 kilometers from the city centre. Look for
the sign with Twin Oaks written on it at the second set of crossroads
My name is Mary Glynn and I am the
owner along with my husband Ger. Our ambition when we started
this business back in 1995 was to promote Ireland and the Irish
way of life to all our visitors, and we continue to do so.
Accomodation here at Twin Oaks includes
a triple, or family room en-suite, a double room en-suite, and
a double standard room with it`s own private bathroom. Relax in
the evening after your travels in our comfortable guest lounge,
where TV is available.

Breakfast is served in our spacious
dining room. There is ample private parking, and the main national
roads are just 2 kilometers from our house. Being away from the
main road guarantees you a good sleep, with no traffic noise.
The gardens are for the use of our
guests with an interesting and unusual selection of Trees, Shrubs
herbacious perennials, and rockery plants
We have
hair dryers in each room, there is a cot and high chair available
for small children. Tea and coffee making facilities are available
and should you require a taxi, we can order it for you.
Breakfast Menu
Guests may choose from our extensive breakfast menu freshly cooked each morning. Vegetarian diets catered for.

Irish Breakfast
- Irish Breakfast (2 bacon ,2 sausages, egg, tomato, pudding)
- Scrambled eggs with bacon
- Fried eggs with beans
- Savoury omelette (mushrooms and, or, tomato)
- Porridge with honey , sugar, or cinnamon, (it's your choice)
Vegetarian Options
- Scrambled eggs on toast
- French toast with honey and fruit
- Pancakes with sweet stewed apple
- Beans on toast
Continental Breakfast, Irish Style

All the above served with tea ,coffee, fruit juices or spring water, home made brown bread,
toast.
