Twin Oaks bed and breakfast is situated
in a quiet country setting, yet only 5 minutes by car from the
small historic city of Kilkenny.Travel south on the R697, or Kells
Rd, we are approx 4 kilometers from the city centre. Look for
the sign with Twin Oaks written on it at the second set of crossroads
My name is Mary Glynn and I am the
owner along with my husband Ger. Our ambition when we started
this business back in 1995 was to promote Ireland and the Irish
way of life to all our visitors, and we continue to do so.
Accomodation here at Twin Oaks includes
a triple, or family room en-suite, a double room en-suite, and
a double standard room with it`s own private bathroom. Relax in
the evening after your travels in our comfortable guest lounge,
where TV is available.

Breakfast is served in our spacious
dining room. There is ample private parking, and the main national
roads are just 2 kilometers from our house. Being away from the
main road guarantees you a good sleep, with no traffic noise.
The gardens are for the use of our
guests with an interesting and unusual selection of Trees, Shrubs
herbacious perennials, and rockery plants
We have
hair dryers in each room, there is a cot and high chair available
for small children. Tea and coffee making facilities are available
and should you require a taxi , we can order it for you.

- Guests have the option of paying their road toll fees online while staying with us.

Our charges are as follows;
May, June, July, August 2010

- All en-suite rooms are charged at 30.00 per person sharing per night, inclusive of breakfast.
- All standard rooms are charged at 28.00 per person sharing per night, inclusive of breakfast.
- 40euro single supplement for standard room Mon-Friday
- 50euro single supplement for en-suite rooms
- 50euro single supplement for standard room at weekend
- Half-price charge for children under 12 years sharing with adults.
- Children under 3 years go free
Prices displayed are reductions on last years prices but the services and facilities, remain at the same high quality.
